Supported Causes
Faces of Kibera is a New York State nonprofit organization that is dedicated to helping the rising number of orphans in Kibera, Kenya. Kibera is the largest slum in East Africa. With an estimated one million people concentrated in one square mile, the living conditions in Kibera are desperate for all, and particularly difficult for the children. Our goal is to push back against this tide of poverty, illness and deprivation by creating and supporting a community-based facility outside of Kibera to provide care, education and services to the orphans of Kibera. The ‘Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ actress is one of the favourites to star alongsideJohnny Depp in Wally Pfister‘s first directing effort.

According to Deadline.com, Emily’s dates for ‘All You Need Is Kill’ are still being worked out, which may affect her availability versus Rooney and Rebecca.

Johnny will play a scientist whose brain is uploaded after his death into a supercomputer by female scientist Evelyn, who will be played by one of the three actresses.

Filming starts in March and the screenplay is written by newcomer Jack Paglen and was developed by Annie Marter and Straight Up Films.

Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas are executive producing for their longtime collaborator Pfister.

Wally recently spoke of his joy about getting Johnny to sign up for the sci-fi movie.
