Rooney Mara busted her butt during a workout in LA yesterday, and it looks like the starlet is serious about nailing the role of Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
After chopping off her hair and revealing her startling transformation in W mag last month, the actress has started shooting scenes for the film, which also stars Daniel Craig and Robin Wright.

That would be Alec Baldwin! The 30 Rock star recently praised Mara when Access Hollywood interviewed him at a press event.

Overnight sensation Rooney Mara – just cast as Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo – is dating fledgling director Charles McDowell, the son of A Clockwork Orange star Malcolm McDowell.
These exclusive photographs show the couple, who have been dating since the start of the year, in Los Angeles shortly before Mara, 25, flew to Sweden to begin filming her role opposite Daniel Craig.
McDowell, 27, is certainly well-connected – his mother is actress Mary Steenburgen.
She divorced Malcolm McDowell when Charles was seven and she later married former Cheers star Ted Danson.
