I’ve added new filming photos o Rooney Mara on the set of her new movie, ‘Trash’ in Brazil on July 24, 2013. Aftewards, Rooney was spotted dining at Fasano Eatery on the same day in Brazil.
ROONEY Mara is a fan of “natural beauty” and doesn’t wear much make-up in her everyday life.
The ‘Side Effects’ actress admits she thinks she would be “horrible” at applying cosmetics herself.
“For me, natural beauty is something I’ve always been drawn to. I still don’t really wear make-up in my everyday life and I would be horrible at even trying to do it to myself!” she said.
With her fondness for looking natural, it’s no surprise Rooney doesn’t have many go-to beauty products, and instead believes her radiant skin is a reflection on her diet.
Quizzed about her skincare product of choice, the fuss-free star said: “This is going to sound so simple, but sunscreen! I always wear sunscreen. I also find that what you eat is the best beauty secret; it sort of starts from the inside out.”
The 28-year-old beauty – who is the face of Calvin Klein’s new Downtown perfume – also reveals that the fashion house’s designs reflect her own simplistic style.
“The Calvin Klein collection is really quite similar to how I dress in my personal life. It’s very minimal and clean and comfortable, but very modern and chic at the same time,” she said.
Rooney recently filmed a glamorous campaign for the new perfume, which was shot by her ‘Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ director David Fincher.

Rooney Mara and Martin Sheen have signed on to appear in third world drama ‘Trash’.
Both ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ star and Hollywood veteran Martin Sheen have signed on to appear in the film, adapted from the 2010 novel by Andy Mulligan and to be directed by Stephen Daldry.
The story centres around three homeless orphan boys in a non-specified third-world country in the near future, who sift through a huge trash heap in search of things to sell to survive.
The adventure sees the boys – played by newcomers Rickson Tevez, Eduardo Luis and Gabriel Weinstein – find a leather bag containing a wallet with money and an ID card, a map and a key. This discovery plunges the trio into a murky underworld and onto a bigger path of discovery which sees them have to negotiate with corrupt officials and unsavoury characters at every turn.
Helping them along the way are Sheen’s character, Father Julliard, a priest who takes them in, and Mara’s Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) worker.
The story has been adapted for the screen by ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ director Richard Curtis, and production is due to begin in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, next month.
The film is tentatively scheduled for a May 2014 release.

Management 360 has signed Rooney Mara, who is coming into her own after breakout turns in The Social Network and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Mara continues to be repped by WME. She followed those films by starring with Channing Tatum, Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones in the Steven Soderbergh-directed Side Effects and most recently in Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, which premiered at Sundance and will be released later this year.
There is still every hope she’ll reprise her role as goth heroine Lisbeth Salander, as Andrew Kevin Walker is working on a rewrite of that script for Sony. She got an Oscar nomination for her first turn in that role. Mara next stars in the Spike Jonze-directed Her, and she stars with Ryan Gosling and Michael Fassbender in the new Terrence Malick film.
